Sparrows, Bamboo and Falling Snow Cross-Stitch Pattern

This pattern is adapted from Sparrows, Bamboo and Falling Snow by Keisai Eisen (Japanese, 1790–1848), c. late 1820s (color woodblock print). It is in the collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art, which releases the image under CC0 (public domain).

The chart uses 12 DMC colours and 2,666 full cross stitches; the background is left unstitched so the fabric shows through. On 14-count Aida it measures 21.8 x 29.2 cm (8.6 x 11.5 in).
