Iznik Wall Tile Cross-Stitch Pattern

This pattern is adapted from an object titled Wall Tile, made in Turkey (Iznik), Ottoman Period, 1600s (fritware with underglaze-painted design). It is in the collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art, which releases the image under CC0 (public domain). The museum notes: "Iznik tiles are renowned for their brilliant colors."

The chart uses 16 DMC colours and 9,477 full cross stitches; the background is left unstitched so the fabric shows through. On 14-count Aida it measures 21.8 x 22.7 cm (8.6 x 8.9 in).
