About this design
This pattern is adapted from Polyanthus or Cluster Narcissus (Botanical: Narcissus tazetta) by Pancrace Bessa (French, 1772–1846), 1836 (pencil and watercolor). It is in the collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art, which releases the image under CC0 (public domain).
The chart uses 17 DMC colours and 6,098 full cross stitches; the background is left unstitched so the fabric shows through. On 14-count Aida it measures 18.1 x 25.6 cm (7.1 x 10.1 in).
