Strawberry Thief Cross-Stitch Pattern

This pattern is adapted from Strawberry Thief by William Morris (British, 1834–1896), c 1936 (plain weave cotton, discharge printed). It is in the collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art, which releases the image under CC0 (public domain). The museum notes: "Perhaps the most recognizable of Morris’s textiles, Strawberry Thief celebrates the thrushes in Kelmscott Manor’s garden."

The chart uses 18 DMC colours and 12,120 full cross stitches. On 14-count Aida it measures 21.8 x 18.3 cm (8.6 x 7.2 in).
